sword..? never use.. small knife have..

but my mum took it for her daily vegetables cutting usage.

btw, I tried the method by AT, of course certain things cope with common sense should do the work mah.

of course u dun see the pic here, n u go use any pasar malam guning bottle n do hatchery.

seriously, i tried your hatchery DIY method.

quite good, but there's some residue floating

on the top layer of the water. is that the shells

of the shrimp..? too small, n lighting (use candles) in house no good, can't see tat well.

Yup, that's empty BS egg shells. They will float once the BS hatches out.

Don't feed that to your fishes. It will stick in their gut as its largely indigestable.

the babies look so small, n they dun have enuff time to "see" the world yet. I thought feed them n let them grow bigger.. then feed my fishes.. hiakhiak.. !

ya, I do know first few hours of hatch is the best.. but let them live for a few more days..

You normally lose biomass for the first few days. Which means lesser food. Unless there are some specific objectives in mind, it is normally not advisable to keep atermia beyond the first few hours. Bio-enrichment is on the 2nd day, but not more than that.
