How to count gallons ?

I saw internet they use "how many gallon" like let say recommend that a Diamond goby be in a 30gallons tank.

How to see ? Our 2feet tank , 3 feet tank etc is equal to how many gallons ?

depends on the height and width of the tank bro

length x width x height / 231

for example 2ft by 1.5ft x 1.5ft

24inches X 18inches X18inches= 7776/ 231

= 33.6 gallon.
