This morning, saw only 1 of my 2 cleaner shrimp. Happen to see a shrimp head shell with its feeler nicely attach to the shell on the sand bed

did the other shrimp molted? or dead already?

I only have a Yellow Tang, algae blenny, azure damsel and a newly brought black sea cucumber with me.

Mine molted on Sunday morning too. The empty shell is just beside the cleaner shrimp itself. Didn't even bother to find a hiding place to perform its molting.

Anyway, if you still can't find your shrimp after a few days, then its dead. Maybe lack of iodine to complete the molting cycle :whistle

Yay.. it didnt pass away, saw it this morning. Maybe i dose iodide and strontium for my coral and it does encourage it to molt. By the way, do i need to remove the shell? Both shrimp have been with me for almost 2 months already

2nd question - brought some Richordia Florida and some of them dislodge themself from the rock. Is it dead?

the shell can be food for your tank mates! normally, it gets wiped out by other shrimps but if it's stuck to a powerhead, just remove it.

mushrooms moving ard usually indicate they are not happy with placement, thus looking for a better home. dun think it's dead.

choose somewhere there's less waterflow....so it will not be blown off....and it's takes a few days for it to stick itself to the rock
