Need help with toadstool leather

Hi my toadstool still opens up but lately it has "wounds" on the surface flesh with slight erosion of the flesh coupled with mucus produced. But I"ve not touched it at all so can't be mechanical damage, is this a sign of some coral disease? what's the best thign to do now? thanx!

Give it lots of current. If not it will start rotting from there

If it gets worse, I suggest you cut the affected portion. Use a scissors and cut it out. This will stop the spread. Don't worry, the leather will recover.

You could frag it. Cut it into a small pieces and rubberband or glue them to a rock.

You now have more than 1 toadstool.
