halo, i think your fish got ich... the fish flu!!! Treat it immediately before it spreads to the rest of your fishes....

Treatment: Fresh water dip....

Pls DUN treat it with copper based medication in your main tank, most inverts can't touch copper!!! :cry2:

If you detect further infection in your main tank then its adviceble to remove all fishes to a QT tank for treatment, allow your tank to go fishless to starve the virus.

As for how long it should be starve maybe the tanzy or the mods can advice?

Some also recommend garlic?!

Dip food in Garlic Guard or Garlic Xtreme before feeding to boost its immunity. I did try chopping garlic into fine pieces before feeding. My fish ate them too. It did help...IMO... :P

My two cents' worth...

flub, just to confirm, food in garlic good only fishes are treated rite?

What fluent english i have.... What i meant was..... food in garlic are good only for fishes AFTER they are treated rite.... heheheh

kee, you have to try catching, trapping, or whatever ways you can think of to get it out of the tank.... Remove your LRs, using seaweed as bait eg...

This is also one of the reason why reefing is FUN!!! Cheers and enjoy OUTSMARTING your tang!!!

Agreed totally with fuEl, clown surgeon though nice are one of the tougher species to keep with a low rate of survival in captivity...

I am fortunate to see one that feeds... in one neighbourhood LFS shop.... next day, someone bought it liao...
