Algae blenny

Do they eat diatoms or any other algae? I saw mine eating a bit of coraline algae, perhaps there is some diatoms or some other things over there and it accidentally eat some of the coraline algae?

yeah.. basically this guy eat any algae which it could get on to, but except long hairy algae.

Yupz, i saw mine eating alot of diatoms and some other green algae...It's definitely doing it's job well keeping my tank clean...

Algae blenny may die of hunger if there's insufficient algae as food, esp in new and small tank. Unless yrs is trained to eat pellets. l will transfer to my refugium sump tank once i see my blenny getting skinner and skinner.

luckily my bio-color blenny eat mysis and brimp shrmp as well... so never will died of hunger

haha...my one happily eat all the algae in my tank...i think my tank will have sufficient algae for it to graze on...cos there is a lot...and I think it is getting fatter...
