recently my box has beening 'losing' its colour after 1 mth in my aquarium....it somehow loses its bright yellow colour ............

it is not very big.....

is it due to my aquarium water condition .....?

how to make a good water condition when we say about 'to make our water good'

so how do i do noW to make my BOX back healthy.......and its bright yellow colour.

:huh::huh::huh:

Heard from someone high phosphates in your water might make fish lose their colour...not sure how true is that...but no harm in trying to remove phosphates..help to reduce algae growth too.

Anyway..yellow boxfish generally fade in colouration as they grow bigger.

Always something more important than fish.

Feed it with food enhanced with spirulina for coloration. Mine have voracious appetite and have since quarupled their physique. :o

As for the white spots, my two boxfish had them ever since I bought them. Think it is more than just ich...Infact, if it is ich...either their immune system is stronger than any other fish or it would have died ten months ago liao... :lol:

And do be careful not to stress it too much, they are potential timebombs, just like the cowfish... :ooh:

And I think you really have some problems with your water...Mine started feeding very well ever since I took a risk and bought them off the quarantine tank!!! :P
