Hi,

i used to clean my pH probe weekly by brushing it with a soft toothbrush, however i realise that my probe have a small patch of coralline algae which i dun want to scratch the glass surface.

can i dip it in vinegar. will the low pH affect the probe in anyway ? or is there a better way. right now i dip my probe in fresh water . forget to brush the probe last week.

TIA :)

Bro, i think you could dip the probe into vinegar. Anyway, vinegar is a very weak acid. Pinpoint monitor suppose to measure solution in the acidic range as well and the probe is an inert material..

Alternatively, you may want to dip the probe in vinegar but off the Pinpoint monitor lor :eyebrow:
