weipro skimmer 2013

i juz got my skimmer. currently using a 2000L/hr atman pump, however the bubbles produced isnt very dense.

anyone has any suggestions on the pump to use for this skimmer? and the price range of the pump ?

Weipro 2013 is considered a venturi driven skimmer, you can't expect the bubbles to be as fine as needle wheel type.

ya i know .. but the bubbles forming are pathetic .. and i mean pathetic. its worst than my previous skimmer which has no rating at all ... so juz wanna ask if anyone is using any pump that is decent enough to at least produce some skimmate.

needle wheel skimmers are too expensive for me.. so i tot i will jzu make do with this and try to get the best performance

Did you let the air tube be out of the water surface? It's very important, weipro skimmer air tube is hard transparent tube, a lot better than other brands with soft ones. For your info, my previous skimmer weipro 2012, i uses Idra sicce, it's not bad.
