Face off between Deltec & ATI skimmer

Currently running both Deltec and ATI skimmers on the same tank, so its more fair and unbiased compared to running both skimmers separately and attempt to do a comparison. This is solely a product review and not a free advertisement as some reefers are doing nowadays.

In addition, i would like to emphasize that all the information will be based on my own observation and opinion. For critics, you can either buy both skimmers and run it in your tank or view it in my place.

This experiment is for reefers who have difficulty choosing the skimmer within their budget and best for their tank. Unfortunately, i do not have other models of skimmers in this experiment, but i wld appreciate any feedback.

I will not term this a world class review, you reefers will decide yourself. For me, its more like an experiment.

First time fired up. Bubbles not as fine as a seasoned Deltec 851.

As u can see, the skimmer have not break in yet.

This is a must have to prevent the piping from leaking.

Just to add, the Deltec 851 is fed with a Aquabee 2000 pump.

Personally, i leave the air valve fully opened and only adjust the gate valve.

2nd day of skimming, slightly wet skimmate.

4th day of skimming. The Deltec have not completely break in, but sld occur within the next 2-3 days.
