My hammer got 3 feather duster worms living in it...

Will the worm kill the hammer or bleach it?

I guess that's not feather worms but barnacle. its common to see living in between the tantacles. No worries abt it. Its cute too to se them open and closes at times

do take note that if they are barnacles handle them with care. they got a real sharp shell.. can cause some pretty nasty wounds

it is realli dun kill my hammer??

my frz's hammmer oso facing the same problem too.And it started to bleach from the side of the 'worm hole' or something.

Generally, there should not be any problem, however, if you do notice some health issues with your hammer coral, you might consider ways to remove the barnacles. From what you described, it is likely to be barnacles. More helpful if you could post a small pic of it.

bro is it possible to tell which LFS did you buy it from?if there are barnicles on them i think they are gotten from off the coast of SG.Hammers,tourch can be found in the cleaner area of SG BTW.As mostly SG waters have barnicles.cheers
