Are shrimps less hardy then fishes..

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, :D

Just to check if shrimps are more difficult to survive? My tank has been around for about 2 months.. and there are a couple of fishes in it. But everytime I place in a shrimp, it will die pretty quickly (within 4 hours).. counting today, 4th one died .

Is the water on the sand bed.. unhealthly?

thanks.. :fear:

I think your aclimatising not enough. Normally, you will need to keep adding ur tank water bit by bit until its at least 3-4 times the original amount.

Some info on aclimatising LS,
