hammer not green

Used to have problem with hammer , now OK

now my hammer from green to normal light brown, what happen?

even i bought new hammer, within 1 week, change to brown, but open up very big

Used what mineral/ liquid / water parmeter to gain back the green?

Greetings,

Please try to reposition it and make sure that it receive sufficient lights. The "Green" stuff within the coral are actually algae living in it. They need light to survive and help the coral too. Read up more on Algae & Coral relationship to further understand this.

You hammer looks opening all right.

If if loses it green, it mean that it is either:

1. The temp is not right.

2. The lights are less than 10000K range. Of more common 6500K daylight tube.

Looking at the pix, guess it is the lights. But parameters ifor will be good.
