chocolate chip starfish

Hi,today just bought a nice colour chocolate chip starfish about 3-4inchs for my FOWLR setup.Understand that this starfish is not reef safe but it also attack fish while sleeping.Anyone keep before pls advice is it safe to keep with fish setup?

you'd need to feed the starfish with a piece of prawn or squid to keep it happy.. it will stay on the prey for a couple of hours... attached is a pic of Patrick my starfish (have you watched Sponge Bob lately :) ), it was on this piece of meat for 12 hours at least! :lol: (this was my dearly departed Spotter Caridinal. :pinch: )

thought it was reef safe...intro 2 my tank...1 red open brain gone....lucky i can catch it up n gave it to a fren.. :lol:
