How to clean and wash a chiller?

I just got myself a second hand chiller. As any used chiller will have alot of grime stuck on the walls of the pipe, was thinking if there's some secret technique to clean it out before i pipe it into my aquarium.

A friend recommedned me to use vinegar. don't know how true is that.

bro use tap water at high pressure then flush it throughly.that's what i do

ur toilet got hose right... u press at the outlet of the hose.. just like when u r kids playing with the hose to make it shoot further.. this will work liao

bro just remove your shower head and attach the pipe to the chiller inlet.then go to your house's water control valve and turn it to max then after cleaning reduce the pressure back to normal.try this

Sorry, as I also just bought a second hand chiller. Does that mean all 2nd hand chiller need to be washed?

its up to u.. if u dun mind the ex owner tank dirt as such u can choose not to wash it.

as long as u see no more dirt is coming out means u are done.. normally will took u less then 1min only

i've heard of people flushing their chiller inards with vinegar before... but that's more so to clear out built up calcium deposits I believe...

but usually not much of an issue of the calcium building up

tried it with freshwater jet thru the chiller

ok lar.. not much to see. now that the chiller is hooked up

water is not really dirtied.

chiller cooled water to a temp of 26. not too bad
