Fish in sump...

I think it voice down to the same thing.... calculate the amount of max inches of fishes you can keep for the volume of water (tank + sump) then add slowly like you normal do regardless of to the main tank or sump.... The only reason i can think of why you want to do that is fish compatibility!!

Very "jit ark" if their is no light in the sump.

Imagine locking yourself in a small cell without any light?

I think if you keep a refugium, you will have lighting lah, rite? ;)

the only "jit ark" :lol: thing is most refugium are reverse timed so day like night and night like day....... <_<

if u keep fishes in ur refugium, ur pods will be wipe out clean.

i rather have pods than fishes........... :lol:

Is it good 2 have lotsa lotsa pods in the sump/refugium? If the fishes eat the pods, not good?? More pods ... better 4 the refugium?

I have a refugium too.. with PL 36W 10k light..intended to put seahorse and mandarin.

Wonder How long do u on your PL everyday?

If 24x7...... then there isnt night time for them to sleep already..

The pods are good. They nibble algae in the refugium. Once in awhile, their larvae and some pods will be washed up to the main tank where they will either feed the fish or go about eating the leftover bits of food. Or both ^_^
