Fish in sump...

is it possible to put fish in the sump... will it add bio load to thw main tank...

If you have a refugium in your sump why not??

I think it voice down to the same thing.... calculate the amount of max inches of fishes you can keep for the volume of water (tank + sump) then add slowly like you normal do regardless of to the main tank or sump.... The only reason i can think of why you want to do that is fish compatibility!!

if u keep fishes in ur refugium, ur pods will be wipe out clean.

i rather have pods than fishes...........

I think if you keep a refugium, you will have lighting lah, rite?

the only "jit ark" thing is most refugium are reverse timed so day like night and night like day.......

I have a refugium too.. with PL 36W 10k light..intended to put seahorse and mandarin.

Wonder How long do u on your PL everyday?

If 24x7...... then there isnt night time for them to sleep already..

still haven bought Macroalgae... haha... but i have temporary put my mushrooms there... For one week liao... still in gd condition...

The pods are good. They nibble algae in the refugium. Once in awhile, their larvae and some pods will be washed up to the main tank where they will either feed the fish or go about eating the leftover bits of food. Or both
