SRC Member surfedelic Posted November 4, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted November 4, 2003 I am using one ES6-1. Pretty good I would say. You get what you pay for. the one I have is a 100 gal unit. The skimate is really thick like hot fudge but the skimmer is abit dependent on water level as it is not stated anywhere. I was abit disappointed when i first got it becasue my sump level fluctuate for my case and I have to rectify the problem. So make sure you have about 10 to 12 inch of water where you placed your skimmer. hope this helps

Guest
Hi, Make a trip to PR, the price of EuroReef skimmers are displayed at the shelf. OR call them about availablity of your choice first, the last time i ask they seem to have certain model only. Get the 8-1 or 8-2 if you have enough budget or space in your sump. Blackbox
Get the 8-1 or 8-2 if you have enough budget or space in your sump. Space is not a problem, but heat is the problem. Since I don't have chiller, 8-1 or 8-2 are using 50W pump if I'm not mistaken. Might be a little bit too hot for my system. Anyway thanks for the suggestion.
