where to buy decorative (non-laquered) shells?

Was wondering if you guys know where to get nice decorative shells, big (fist sized) and small ones... i need them unlaquered coz I'm using them in photos.

Few months ago I bought some from a street hawker in Chinatown, on the open space below the LFS. Not sure are they there permanently, but if you're going to try, maybe try weekends day time.

The stalls open only on weekends afternoons and close ard 6pm.

managed to go down to Chinatown again today (Sunday) and there was an Indonesian (I think) lady who spoke almost no english selling shells of all shapes and sizes... just what I was looking for!

FYI, not very cheap the shells...

I saw a lady selling some shells and even some dead coral skeleton. Did not ask the price thou

I think T95 got some dead coral skeletons, SPS and clam shells for sale. Not sure how's the price thou. U might wanna try ur luck
