BM or Deltec?

I am wondering which skimmer i should get for my 3x3x2.5 tank. deltec or the bubble master? What's the difference between a bubble master and bubble king? are they from the same manufacturer? i am hoping to keep sps in my tank.

bubble master is from ATI , the famous Number 1 .T5 lighting producer

bubble King is from royal exclusive running on red dragon pump.

the choice of skimmer is really up to ur preference.

all are established brand and will do their job really really well.

i will ask u to go for deltec as i am a deltec user

and most probably jervis will tell u to go for BM.

compare the spec produce by the manufacturer and the price too.

talk to reef depot since they are carrying bubble king / deltec and spare part are easily available.

talk to aquamarine or jervis for the performance of BM.

for SPS, go straight for bubble king hahahaha

To simplify things... one can perhaps let the retail price be the determining factor:

1) ATI Bubble Master 250 - $999

2) Deltec AP 851 - $1399

3) Bubble King 250 - well over $2500

All are established brands, reputable manufacturers, superior products. But if you are really keen on 1 of the 3 models, I strongly suggest you do more research on them. Some of the features to compare:

• Power consumption

• Amount of air production per hour (important)

• Internal / external

• Footprint/dimensions

• Warranty

• Spare parts availability
