I notice the kick-in time for my chiller is increasing base on the log file I got from my controller. Does that mean that I need to service my chiller. The chiller had been with me since May 06. It's a Resun 1/2HP chiller and I did not add any new equipment to the current setup.

Pls advise!!! :thanks:

You have to see whether that day's room temperature is it higher, because these few days seems rather hot. My chiller is rather hard working these few days too. The best time to get derrick to serice your chiller is on a time base, for my case is once a year. I set it at december (so that I can remember). Don't get him here only when the chiller cannot work anymore. Your chiller seems rather new, I don't think need servicing. But is the inlet side ###### in dirts or the inlet side is after your tank filtration? This affects the chiller efficiency also. Resun chiller is very good, mine never create any trouble. But hope that you got a correct size chiller for your tank size in order to increase your chiller lifespan.
