Blue Tang become skinny everyday

i juz bought a PBrT 2 days ago..

it dun seems to be eating..

after monitoring for 2days..

todae i fed them with pellets..

PBrT seems to be eatting pellets only (but still a little bit only, not even 10bits)

however when i fed it with mysis or brine ..

it will juz bite and spit it out .. (kinda bite outta coursity)

i target feed it summore..

spray the mysis and brine @ its hiding place

and 10cm away from it (face to face)..

it juz ignore.. dun seems to be hungry kinda reaction..

heard from many bros tat normally TANGs feed like PIGS..

very greedy one..

y is mine on diet??

a variety of food will be great to fatten the tang.

just to share my experience, the easiest way to fatten up a tang is to feed them with pellets.

for a period of time, i just feed them brine and mysis but my tang could not grow fat until i feed them constantly with pellets.

this is my own experience to share. :)

2x1.5x1.5 tank

Lighting: AI hydra 52HD

Skimmer: Deltec SC 1455

Reactor: Minimax; rowaphos

Skimz  ; NP biopellets

Wave Maker: MP 40 WQD

Return pump: Eheim 1262

Chiller: Arctica 1/10 hp

yes i agree. tangs with fat real fast when they feed on pellets .. u can see the diff in a couple weeks
