give to me can. I don't have bad experiences with it at all. I had mine for at least a year now. Only problem, it disturbs the tube worm who is not securely attached to the sand or rocks as it goes over the surface of the sand cleaning it.

the dogshit-like thingy coming out from sea cuke is clean sand? will it disperse over time? or remain dogshit-like?

it will break in time, and you get clean sand. Also helps if you have a good clean-up crew.

For my 2 ft tank, I have a cuke (about 4"-7" "when fully stretched out), 3 hermit crabs, 5 snails). When the cuke poos out the compacted sand, after a while when the clumsy hemit crabs moves around, the compacted sand will be broken down.

Yes, the dog shit like thingy will break up and white sand will appear. Haha  My black sea cuke is really fantastic also. I got a big one, my sand is forever white and clean. Without the sea cuke, I don't know what will happen to the sand. Hehe. Why do you wish to give away? Care to share your problem? Or is it because you thought the dog shit thingy is shit?

was thinking of giving away cos heard it will release toxin when it expel its intestines

will it climb tank wall? cos my wavemaker is located near water surface

Try to simplicity everything. Just like coral band shrimp, many said they kill anemones, but some said they won't and are benificial as they clean up the base (uneaten food). As for sea cuke, they will only release toxic if they are stress or some predators try to kill them (e.g. crabs). But if you have algaes on the sand, there is a 90% chance that they will stay on the sand. Mine very seldom moves up to the water surface. But if you are afraid, then you might want to give it to other bros, as they can be easily spotted at any LFS if next time you decided to get it again.

You have to see if your sea cuke is still around, if it is, then the death of your anthias is not because of the poisonous intestines. Anthias died easily when you got too little females or too many males in one tank. My male killed 2 other females in 3 days time. It's better to get 1 male and 6 females.

kept 2 black cukes b4 with a clown trigger in my old tank. No incident to report but not sure if this is a general behaviour or just an isolated one...
