Elegant coral

Hi ...i have been keeping my elegant coral for 1 month but it doesnt not open sometime even if i on the light .....like open for 3 day and closes for another 2 days maybe ...is it alright ......does elegant coral open everyday ? help?

i am using 36watts Pl in a 2 foot tank and i place right under light ....and do i have to feed it every day .... my tank temp is 27.5 to 29......

Don't think it is normal for it to open for 3 days and close for 2....

How much does it expand when it open up......healthy specimen expand about 3x the size.

Post a pic of it as it's hard to recommend anything base on the description alone.

yes when it open it will open 4X is size sometime and sometime 3x or 2X
