Nice pics. Thanks for sharing the trip! Anyway, I thought I remembered aquaria arts brought in some blue accessor in their last australian fish shipment (quite a while back). Seldom seen otherwise.



Specs

Return pump: 2 x Eheim 1260 (with 1 pumped to chiller before returning to main)
Chiller: Hailea HC-500A (1/2 hp)
Skimmer: Deltec SC2060
Lightings: 8 x 24W ATI Sunpower T5 fixture
Wavemakers: Vortech MP40, MP10, Tunze nanostream 6045

Those little fellas are aka 'Slipper Lobsters'. Similar to our crays in SG. ;)

On the side note.. Snakes are commonly found through-out Australia. It's the land of reptiles & creepy-crawlies.. Back in Western Australia, we found snakes in the building of my university. The venomous types too, mind you.. If I remember correctly, think they were King Brown Snakes.

I used to find Black Widow Spiders in my backyard, baby scorpions in my shoes etc. Which is why you always, always empty your shoes before you put them on. :P:whistle

Slipper Lobsters are nice... but why the Australians call them BUGS :lol::lol::lol:

We are so lucky to be here in Singapore... and we make so much fuss about mosquitos and stray cats :lol:

The trip was fun... watching real whale and fake whale... haha... sorry no pix to show the "fake" whale... a stripshow featuring a topless 150kg "whale"... doing pole dance :shock::shock::shock: I think she can do advertisement for extra strong stainless steel poles...

The main highlight for the Canberra trip... Flower Festival, once a year... ADMISSION IS FREE!!!

Some countries will participate by sponsoring showcases... at the center (by the lake) you can see the Malaysia & Singapore showcase... emm... since when both countries so "kawan" :lol:

The Tulips are beautiful... but according to my mum Holland still the best (she went last year)... but the ticket for the Holland Flower Fest is around $100 :( So Canberra still the best since it is FREE :P
