Hi,

My tank setup:

3ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft

running on eheim canister filter, weipro 2013, 20+kg of LRs.......

lighting use JKS 4x36w PL tubes, 2x 10000k white n 2x blue tubes.

still in process of cycling tank.....

after i have cycled the tank, can i keep corals/anemone with this kind of setup?

will the lighting be sufficient for corals/ anemone?

which type of coral can i keep? basically i dont know which corals looks like wat....

if possible can someone post pictures of those that may suit my tank?

one last question.......what can i do to stop/minimise the movement of anemone?

Is there any kind of anemone that dont run about?

Thanks

IMHO. NO. IMNSHO, NO. (In My Not So Humble Opinion). Run a search on SRC and you will find that a lot of corals and most Anemone required more than normal lightings. You also need a chiller for MOST coral!

Just my 2 cents! Maybe 5 cents? ir $20 worth? :peace:

4 x 36watts PL... 1.5ft depth. Should be sufficient enough for anemones and most corals.

Suggest you buy a coral book because by the time we post photos and everything.... it'll be a book already.

Get Aquarium Corals by Borneman... look for our sponsor, Seaquest, he may have a good lobang.

will go n lookout for this book........

when i'm thinking of my tank was fully cycled(likely in about 1-2 weeks time more to go), n adding corals....bit by bit, than maybe some small pieces of fishes........very excited......

but this time round i'm going to do it very slowly......

like many brothes said........Marine is actually a test of patient......

Cheers
