also guys ... would be nice to discuss how often feeding occurs for your tank...

i used to feed a mixture of

frozen brine

frozen mysis

dried cyclo

garlic

seaweed flakes

and assorted flake foods.

but now im thinking of

chopped prawn

chopped squid

chopped silver fish

garlic

dried cyclo

seaweed flakes

note that this recipe would be very very high in nutrient and cause ur skimmer to go nuts. therefore i am going to feed only once every other day and once on that day(also will be a small amount). the rest of the time ... feeding will consist of flake foods.

is this ok ? what u guys think ?

I made my own food mix with the following:

prawn

squid

silver fish

cockles

garlic juice

dried cyclopeeze

seaweed flakes

alternatively might also add spirulina, frozen mysis/ brine shrimps, or even formula 1/2 pellets to the mix.

My fishes love it, even my mandarin and leopard wrasse also like it. :)

but I only feed them this during weekends as it really pollutes the water.

Actually I think most bros here won't just feed their fishes with one kind of food. I also feed my fishes with brine, mysis, pellets, all colours of sea weeds, and occationally if my mum got cook prawns, will feed chopped prawns. I feed my fishes 2 times daily, sometimes once a day.
