What Brand of Test kits is reliable?

What brand of test kits is reliable? im currently using tetra, i find that the colour in nitrite is hard to match the reading. any recommendations?

nitrite test kit can double as nitrate too.

actually for ammonia and nitrite, using tetra is okie as u need to achieve undetachable reading to show that u have completed ur ANN.

Do the brands of test kits have any expiry date on them?

i got tetra test and aquarium pharmaceuticals, inc and they never show any expiry date, they only show the lot number.

btw is aquarium pharmaceuticals inc good?

how to check for expiry date for test kits? i just bought a amonnia aquarium pharmaceuticals. its like i see the price very cheap already and when i pay the auntie still give discount somemore. im quite worry thats its near to expiry date or had already expired. can anyone help me out with this? if expire already i want to get back there and change a new one, i still kept the receipt with me.

aquarium pharmaceuticals is very good and cheap. I have alot test kit. So don't worry abt A.P brand

Just to share, SERA is such a pain to use. But however, those other products are mostly up to your own preference. All you have to make sure is to have good practice that you do not contaminate the testing solutions. Resealing immediately after use is just another example of safe and accuracy practice.
