Dear All, decided to stop this hobby for the moment as i going oversea for long term. Anyone interesting in buying a redSea prizm with a surface skimmer attachment and also a media basket. THis is the exact same model as this.

take it this way,

reddevils is selling at a fixed price.

jasyu is going to put it up for bid.

if your bid start price = that of your competitor's fixed price,

where is your bid heading?

i'd rather pay the $90 upfront collect next day,

rather than bid $90, wait for the bid to end. then collect after the bid.

whereas when you start bid at a lower price, the lower price is your pull factor.

My point is why comment on ppl starting price when u yourself sells a similar item (w no additional accessories) for $90? Dont u think that it reflects very badly on yr integrity?

The concern here is ppl starting price, since u brought up on yr wheather if yr prism is sold for $90, who cares if u sell yr prism for $90 or $9. I for one dont care, even if u give away FOC. U are a rich man's son anyway.

Why bring becket skimmer into the picture? Its not relevant. Think before u speak.

Beckett use to sell much higher price becos not many ppl make becket and needlewheel's price is so expensive. Nowadays there are so many beckett maker. Competition brings down the price.

But u look at the Prism price, it has not drop, but have either maintan or rise price, due to higher shipping price.

Reflect upon it.

Final note: I find its quite a good deal for this prism as it comes along with additional accessories. Good for reefer who start out. Good luck to the sale.

I just want to warn seller on who they are dealing with. If u can afford it, go ahead and bid it. It can be very fustrating whenever u want to sell things and aeroplaners are there. Have u ever experience that before?

Its good to spend your money wisely.

Btw, at least u inform the seller yr intention to give up the deal. I have meet with buyer who just mysteriously disappear, isnt that amazing. lol

I think its unfair for me, because we're comparing items sold then in 2004 and now 2006. Seller initiated for a bidding system, and is unsure of what starting price to ask. I merely gave my opinion.
