it is to help you disconnect and connect your flexible hoses with ease. just turn off both taps, then you can remove the two parts from each other, no spillage! =)

bought for near $20. selling for $10. really useful product! previously used it for for my eheim 1250. so.. you know hose size ah... haha.. =)
