Do you know if the top of the standpipe is closed or open?

The top of the stand pipe is close but you need to drill 2 holes at the sides of the top cover for adjusting the air.

Done the sump......

overflow is a bit better, just got to do some DIY for the waterfall sound..

waiting for the FRand PO4 removal.....

Still thinking about the lights, chiller, maybe a protein skimmer and even redo the whole sump.....

At the moment, would like to know what else to add to the sump, in terms of filter media........looks a bit barren.....or is it meant to be that way?

Should i get Carbon? if so wat sort....and how to place it?
