Waited for too long and i am wondering as my friend (BS, you know who?) just said to me...

1. Where is the action plan?

2. Where are the disclosure of multinicks, flamers, troublemakers, spammers, etc... except onlookers and movie watchers?

Hope that it would not only come here for a few days and then went MIA for a few months and comeback again when things went out of hand ... if you know what i mean.

No insults... please.. just for a concrete discussion...here..

Dear SRC members,

You may be aware of recent developments in SRC that were unpleasant. All these have now forced my hand.

I'm now disabling the member lookup feature for the time being due to rising evidence that indicates that the PM (personal messaging) feature has been abused by some former disgruntled users of SRC, used to spam messages to point our newcomers to another local forum recently set up and serving as their home base.

Sadly, these folks are out to:

1. Destroy my name & reputation and discredit my good intentions.

2. Destroy faith in SRC as the local #1 marine hobbyist site.

3. Discredit and destroy competitors which are not listed on that site.

4. Build up their own database of new users by pirating them away to this other local forum, using SRC's PM system.

The recent rise in disruptive activities from multinickers, who are obviously anti-SRC and SRC advertisers, have been rightfully suggested by many to be:

1. commercially driven ie. to affect a competitor's business & reputation,

2. arising from disagreement with SRC's management style or actions taken & seeking retribution,

3. or folks getting involved (or being made used of?) due to loyalty to the aggrieved parties without thinking about their own legal liabilities.

4. Falsely building up an attractive, friendly and helpful image over there while simultaneously destroying the atmosphere here in SRC with their multiple nicks to flame, make false accusations and insinuations that bring down the usability of the forum & affecting the credibility of its management in running this club and decrying the quality of our members.

Let's just say that the many quarrels here that turn people off are started by these same folks. We have logged evidence which will be revealed when the time is right.

As legally advised, SRC has been tracking and gathering hard evidence which will prove and enable prosecution of individuals who have had a history of disrupting, harassing, defaming others in SRC.

The evidence has come out with intense investigative cross-referencing and proof of such misdeeds will be revealed in due time, perhaps earlier than the legal action just to prove a point.

A few rotten apples may threaten to spoil the barrel, but we now have vigilant 'farmers' sifting these out, plus outside help.

Too long, the administration have been quietly taking the blows, now it is time to take back our ground. Being defensive has always been taken as a sign of weakness...

The mods and I have spent far too much time and effort in maintaining the mission of SRC to help reefers and hobbyists and keeping this community forum peaceful and productive for 4 years, to take things sitting down.

So in the meantime, new members and old, beware of who communicates with you out of the blue in SRC... question their motives, and take their information with a pinch of salt. Best of all, stay out of politics and don't get caught up by rumours which have never been proven correct all these years. And for those who have gone over to the other forums because of the promises and vision set for their new Utopia... be careful because you don't know you're in for. Take a cue from some 'old birds' who went there as mods and left shortly after/stepped down, citing some reasons.... what's really going on???

Sadly, these efforts against SRC are done by people we once called fellow local reefers, who benefitted from SRC before but left to seek new grounds and now hide behind their keyboards with hidden identities & agendas and behaving in such cowardly fashion.

I feel ashamed that once again, the level of sophistication of some locals in the reefing scene, has to be highlighted to the public once more.

Pop-corn eaters, the BIG SHOW is now on the road. Just don't get too shocked when some 'noble angels' from the other forums are otherwise shown to be the exact opposite.

The process is long but Justice is not blind and Justice will be served.

After all is said and done, can we introduce something to prevent new members or even old members from getting cheated through bulk orders? Since SRC has a legal team at it's disposal, this is the time too to spruce up that section to prevent a repeat of what had happened previously. It seems that I am the only victim still hanging around here in this forum. Can we agree to this? I do not mind losing the amount of money but it's the forum integrity at stake. We've got the nation's name being used here and I do not want it to be known as a cheater or trickster arena whereby unknown members might be taken advantage of.

Actually what was said is true...

Some sponsors i believed already no longer a sponsor. But they are still in listed here as sponsors.

Like some recent cases of ordering online by reefers from other countries and never delivered. He has to come here to get some responses and help from other local reefers. IMO, this is uncalled for if the mods have update the sponsors advert and list.
