micromussa??

Hi there..just wondering is micromussa the name for acans as well?? cant really seem to differentiate....

if i remember correctly, acans, micros, loboss, cynarinas, and blastos are grouped within:

family- mussidae.

genus- acanthastrea, blastomussa, cynarina, lobophyllia, and micromussa.

then it is further split into separate species within each genus, so to answer your question, micros are not the same as acans, but then again, its not so easy to differentiate- im also blur- like with telling lobos from cynarinas.
