Is there any marine species banned in Singapore?

:shock: Duh ... how can a person keep a whale of any sort locally (at home)??? Unless of course U own an-Underwater World-type-place etc. (which even then, is still so small).

I think whales belong in the ocean. They R too big/huge 2 B kept in captivity, such beautiful creatures should B left in the wild. Keeping them in any enclosure (no matter how big) will B very cruel ... :unsure:

Seriously... we are talking about the following:

Banned by AVA:

Sharks

Blue Ring Octopus, seasnakes.... and any other venomous/toxic marine creatures except lionfishes...

Protected by CITIS (International):

Leafy and weedy sea dragons...

Sea Turtles...

Some of the hard corals and exotic endangered fishes....

Whales... can try lah but I doubt u can.... :lol::D:lol:

Whales should go under endangered mammals list anyway.
