my water parameters

Recommended Posts

the optimum pH for reef is about 8.2.

all the parameters looks okie to me, maybe u can dose alkalinity buffer and your pH will be stable with time.

maybe u measure your pH late at night or early morning which cause a slight drop in ur reading .... :)

Try to bring Nitrate lower (if possible). Should work towards <1. How about Phosphate?

pH fluctuates throughout the day, so it is advisable to take 2 readings in order to determine the range within the day.

As suggested by bro Hammy, take once darkness, take another reading at the height of your lighting. That will give you a range, there's no such thing as a definite single value for pH. There's always a range, some 7.8 to 8.3, some successful tanks will show 8.1 to 8.3 :)

KH is a tad on the borderline also, try to bring to 10dkH if possible to offer more buffering to the system.

Other than that... everything looks fine... oh not forgetting temperature also, try not to exceed 29ºC if you are keeping corals.
