Here's what I've been up to lately. Working on this PVC piping for my chiller & refugium. Water need to be pump up 7 ft high form sump to chiller. Base on Eheim 1262 flow chart, I think only left about 2000I/h... cannot T-off to FR anymore

Very good... it's good to have your tools hang-dried like that... coz they will tend to go rusty if kept in drawers... good work... so far!!!

dude, i have seen a reefer with similar piping as yours, in fact its totally identical. He's using Eheim 1262 pump which he complain its too weak due to the excessive piping works. So u might wanna consider using a bigger pump such as Aquabee higher series or something.

I had the same worry before bro , thought that the eheim is too weak for the task.

Just fire up the pump in a tub of water as the sump is not ready yet. To my surprise the flow is great, it filled up all the 9 holes in the spray bar and still maintain a stream of water at the top protion.

I suspect the smooth bend on the piping ready help to minimize the obstruction of flow compare to 90 degree elbow.
