Eh sorry not to sopil your sale but CL300 is really no use ina 3 footer tank much less to say a 4 footer....... People get chiller is usuaully because they got themselves very strong lighting that produce lots of heat but with a chiller that can't cool down your tank at all.. whats the use.

MMm BTW i change my CL300 into a CL650 for my 3 feet tank, IMO CL300 is good for only nano tank

Hi Guys !

Thanks to SpiderOne's understanding ! As for Prizm skimmer, it can handle 3ft tank easily. I am currently using it for my 4 ft tank.

1. OceanBlue, please sms me if you are still interested.

2. Frankly, Resun CL 300 technical manual clearly states that it can handle tank capacity of below 300litres (3~4 ft tank), down to 22deg.C. I use it on my 4 feet tank (with PL 20K and Actinic Blue lights) and two power heads ; to maintain water temperature at 26deg.C without any problem at all. Electrical bill consumption is also pretty low for me so far...only about $12/ month.

Having said that, it is technically true that if a tank under very strong lighting condition, it will difficult for CL300 . In this case, CL650 or higher capacity will be more appropriate. Bottom line will depends on individual needs and tank set-up.

To be fair, it will be over-exaggerative to claim that CL 300 is only suitable to "nano" tank. For someone who does not use very strong lighting, Objectively, I believe CL 300 will be fine.

Anyway, just hope to clarify with no hard feelings.

Have a nice evening to all ! :thanks:
