Here's the Tunze Nano Cleaner... making use of it's surface skimming to remove the layer of foam/oil/floating particles accumulating in my refugium/sump. Consumes around 10W only :heh:

Here's a better pix to show the Tunze Nano Cleaner in context... as you can see, the water surface is clear now... was not the case previously <_< Moved the Aquatronica Water Level Sensor (for DI water top up) to the left... I am very very happy with this cost-effective little gadget :yeah:

Will talk about the Chaeto on the right soon :heh:

Yes Chercm... cannot recognize ur own sump? (we have almost the same sump design btw) :lol:

Here's a clearer pix... finally decided to move the Chaetomorpha out of the first chamber (left most) as the Chaeto outgrown that compartment within 2 weeks :erm:

Placed them within the refugium instead... see those white plastic forks? Use them to keep the Chaeto in place without blocking the MH to my other corals and macros... well... I have 3 weeks to totally removed all other corals :unsure:

btw. UV light. dont get expose to it for long period. bad for eyes and skin.

The outer layer glass will prevent the harmful UV from penetrating through... clearly written in the instructions manual... I guess I can trust German product :lol: But it looks way too exaggerated... like a commercial unit :shock:

Yeah... they do look good for the price range... made in Italy as of all Hydor products :lol:

KORALIA 1 1500 l/h 4,5 W

I bought K1 and K2 as I do not need strong current for my "rearspeakers" :lol: Surround sound for my tank :P
