hi hi,

i don't think you have to worry about the virus thing since most likely when you collect the stuffs, they will be all cleaned and dry. the virus should be gone. but have to worry about the live rock since they have to stay alive to transfer to you tank, that's when the worry of virus is but can always cycle and remove the virus (something like that)

actually i find the price is ok (not cheap but ok.. eheh) consider the high price of live rock these days and 2 2213 will cost around $160.

yeah i do research on marine hobby already. i m really veri interested in keeping marine fish... but i m still a student loh. veri low budget can spend on it. so just to post out abt ppl selling 2nd hand equipment. any advise izzit worthy to get them ?

Second hand tanks to me I think should be quite okay.. Have you seen the tank? Why is he selling? Does it come with a cupboard? Thickness of glass? His setup, if he got everything else cheap, would cost around $400 assuming a $50 fish tank, $20 sand, $6/kg live rocks, $80 ehiem 2213 filter. Skimmer $35, Lights varies, depending on what kind of FL he has.. I have lobang for a second hand 3ft tank with external overflow.. 2yr old, with cupboard, everything stable already, no requirement for skimmer, with controllable twin FL tubes.. No rocks, only the sand for $450.. Interested? And I will be setting up a seahorse only 1ft tank for $200.. :D

Tango...

A 1 feet seahorse tank? Quite cruel leh...even the jars in medical shops used to store dried seahorse are more than one feet...

Think once...think twice...think aga|n.

:)

I'm gonna break the cycle

I'm gonna shake up the system

I'm gonna destroy my ego

I'm gonna close my body now
