Red Coco worm does not come out in the day

I bought this red coco worm about 3 months ago. Then after 1 month, it dropped the head. Then I thought it was dead. Lucky, I did not remove it from the tank. I just left it at a corner at the back.

Last evening, I happen to move it to the fornt of the tank. Just early this morning, I noticed that the head has grown back and it is now alive again. Lucky, that I never throw it away.

So now the question, why during the day, I never noticed that the coco worm comes out, but only in the night time, how can I allow it to come ot all day? All advise from any experts please? Thanks.

Is ur coco placed in an area with plenty of fishes activities during the day? That cud be a reason.

actually not. asmy tank is only a 2ft with 1 rabiitfish, 1 regal tang, 2 africa clownfish, 2 blue chromis, 2 banggai cardinal, 1 firefish, 1 yellow goby, 1 maroon clown.

so i don't know I will still observe as it only grows its head back recently so I will check it now daily. it is a pity that only in the early monring that you can see the red head coming out.
