Pic too big.

Yes it should be a Yuma. But definately not a Ricordia.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Well they are sorta a Ricordia type.

But You probably mixed up between Floridia Ricordeas and Ricordea Yumas.

The ones you have are Ricordia Yuma.. which everyone knows as Yumas for short. We do not usually call them Ricordeas. Price varies alot. From $5 to $30/per rock to $50.

The Ricordias we talk about are Ricordea Florida. Usuall around $30 and up per polyp. I find them to have more distinct colours.

But to know what is what, I was told to look at the 'pimples'.

The 'pimples' on the Yumas are inconsistant. Usually much larger on the skirts on the polyp.

Ricordeas have much more consistant sized 'pimples'.

After a while you will get used to which is which. In the mean time, thats how to tell them apart.. there maybe other ways.. maybe some others can post here.

arcanehacker is rite.

Yuma ric has multiple *pimples* around the mouth area.

Florida ric do not have those around the mouth and it is normally fetch at a higher price than yuma. Unless iz a pink yuma or have better colouration.
