may i know what pump are you running with the skimmer? and does it come along with it? thanks

as for tubby, it will help you top up fresh/di water when your sump or tank level is below the assigned level.

searching4dan: as what w3ish3ng said, the tubby is to add water to the sump. It comes with sensors that are sticked inside the sump. You tank loses water due to evaporation. If the sump water is below certain level, the sensors detect the change and trigger a pump, which pumps water from a water compartment into the sump.

w3ish3ng: I've never setup the skimmer and I have not idea what pump it uses. But if you are really keen I will try to find out for you.
