anyone manage to keep clams alive under PL light tube

is it possible to keep it alive using PL light if the tank is very shallow

height of the tank less then 12 inches..

Yes i have friend who have kept his clam alive under PL light but it is definately not advisable as clam are rather notorious being very light demanding

i've managed to keep a tur maxi in a 1ft tank b4... used dual pl light set with a 13w actinic blue and a 13w 7000k... kept for 6months which after i transfered to my 4ft with MH... its possible given that u place it high...

Hey maxima are one of the most light demanding clam, think yours was not happy but luckily you convert your light to MH
