Via Aqua Multi skimmer

I bought an used skimmer from a fellow reefer in this forum a few weeks ago. We made arrangement for me to pick up at his place in Bradell area, as he was not in town, I was told to get it from his maid which I went but maid say nobody pass down instructions. When he return from overseas, he sent the skimmer to my place, price was $40 but I paid $50 and ask him keep the change since he travelled all the way to my place(in BMW). I was too busy to setup my new tank till today. When I on the power, the power head doesnt move at all. I sms and call him, his line was currently not in service.In fact I sms him a week ago to ask him how to use this skimmer and where to put the filter but didnt get reply. any reefer knows what's wrong with the skimmer

try opening up the pump and cleaning the magnet of the needle impellor. Usually a pump stop using for long period of time under storage the impellor gets stuck due to hardened debris. Clean with tap water and wipe with clean cloth fiz back test in water.
