i used to have a FOWLR tank, until recently i got some corals from some friends and cousins. while some survive some didnt, i got a salifert nitrate test kit and found out my nitrate level is 0.5. thats is high rite ? it shouldnt go any higher than 0.1 ? then how am i suppose to measure anything lower ? i dont really understand what they say about dividing by 10 to get a more sensitive reading. can anyone here explain it to me ? thanks :)

my ammonia level is undetectable

below is the design of my sump. i didnt want to make anything permanent incase i need to do any modifications in the future and i dont have the keching as well :paiseh:
