Help! Hailea Pump very noisy,

hi friends,

just bought 1 hailea pump 5000 l/h for the 4ft tank. Model is HX-6550. put inside the sump & it's as loud as those china brand chiller. appreciate any feedback from anyone who has experience with this model.

already used in the sump. if really pump fault, not sure will the shop exchange it for me.

if u had brought it, theres nothing much u can do or regret. live with it and made do or sell it away...

Just wondering, are you regulating the output flowrate from the pump using a valve in the return pipeline? If you are, when you fully open the valve, do you still hear noises from your pump?

Open full on the control valve still VERY noisy. anyway, have found the agent's address & will send it down for checking this weekend.

i think the hailea pump uses alot of current and is very warm... not a good pump to use... can try ehiem maybe.. gives the same or more power for less electricity consumed..
