Hi guys

I am designing the cabinet and am looking at a few colours to play with... the light fixture is a ATI Powermodul in silver. The tank is braceless/topless. My surrounding is light wooden floor, walls are white, office furniture is light wood (Ikea birch laminate).

Appreciate new colour combination also :)

Nbr 6 looks like quite similar to how a deltec tank looks like, in Porsche silver.

Wah Porsche Silver also quite popular... :lol::lol::lol: Maybe I can get a laminate that matches the ATI Powermodul... I shall call it ATI Silver :lol:

haha. . fine fine fine. . there are pros and cons using braceless tank considering tt my previous set up was an Aquatechnic tank.

Here's the pros:

1) The tank looks very classy cuz its an open concept

2) very easy maintenance cuz its braceless

3) the tank looks bigger than it is

basically the first point is the most outstanding.

Cons: You don't want to know about it. . :P

I know about the splashes lah... seen it in your tank... that's why I am allowing 4" allowance... anyway I just received an indication from my tank maker that with my configuration (using 12mm glass)... I might not be able to achieve full braceless anyway :( So back to the drawing board... haiz...

Do you guys think this tank will look ugly with bracing? I mean topless but with braces... got a feeling is will look :sick:

i think you should choose the colour that can blend into your hse design... just my opinion....

ehz. . straight away go aquatechnic design ur braceless tank. . they definately can do braceless. . after all they are the pioneer. . plus lifetime warranty :D

True... actually most colours blend in quite well except the RED and the BLACK :ph34r:

Neber thought of water spill for braceless tank. Any idea any custom moulded arcylic tank in Singapore? Or need to get from US?

I-Aquatic's workmanship for acrylic tank is quite impressive. You can call them and find out the price. :)
