I will be in the best position to advice you.

Firstly, do you own a sump + cabinet. If yes, you can use Aquatronica to on/off/interval the Stream 6000. I can't stand the clicking on/off sound of the Power Unit so I rely back on my Multicontroller 7095.

Bear in mind that the Multicontroller can create much more effect than the current Aquatronica features. So if you want to mimic sea current (very complex type playing with more than 1 Streams)... then you will find Aquatronica too restrictive.

It all depends on what you want and your tank size. Do PM me if you need more info as I'm very familiar with your position right now.

controller stream also has an important functions in that you can varies the power of the stream in percentage from 30%-100% power. The interval on/off will not be able to do that....you will need some additional components from aquatronics to do that, and given i have no experenice with such component, can't comment much.....

finally you have to read the instruction from Tunze carefully....quite sure the non-controllable stream cannot not on/off in 10 sec intervals...but not sure about the controllables one....:P

I'm also using quatronics, but sticking to the 7095 to control the stream and wavebox....:D :D :D
