my sailfin have been with me for around 3 -4 months .. cant really remember. it was previously feeding on pellets and brine shrimps and today i tried feeding lettue

BUT instead of it eating or trying out the lettue it started show agression at it  .. the typical rise fins dancing around and stuff . any idea how to convince it to take the lettue ?

the lettuce is still in the tank .. how long before i have to take it out if it doesnt eat it ?

thanks :D

I feed my tangs with "supermarket", unmarinated, dried seaweed everyday. They LOVE it and it keeps them very healthy. Lettuce doesn't grow in the sea while seaweed does, so I presume seaweed contains more essential nutrients for the fish than lettuce.

My tangs refused to eat any market leafy veggies but the moment i put in seaweed, they flew over and eat non-stop until the weed is gone. Sometimes I give them a treat by bringing home some FRESH seaweed (not dried ones) from the beach.

Pictures and videos here.
