IMO, i wld recommend cleaner shrimp than cleaner wrasse as this particular wrasse's survival rate in captivity is extremely low. There aren't many successful attempts to keep this fish by reefers. Best to let them clean other fishes in the ocean.

I agree with underworld. Cleaner wrasse do not last long in capivity. Moreover, there is a similar looking fish as cleaner wrasse known as false cleaner wrasse. This type will rip the skin of your unsuspecting fishes. beware.

IMO, get the cleaner shrimp. safer and help to clear up uneaten food.

my vote goes to the cleaner shrimp too... no problems with its survivability in a tank

also.. seen the cleaners "clean" other fishes in my tank often...

I'd say cleaner shrimp too, if you want alternatives, my fav cleaner is still the Neon Goby

No problems that I have with my 2 hermits. But then again, you can never fully trust crabs.

Where did you get your neon gobby? I did not seem to notice that fish on the LFS that I visited.

neon goby is a cool cleaner fish too

but its lifespan is short, stocks only come at certain periods, and expect to pay $20/- for a fish only 1+cm long
