which type of clown nicer?

i heard can't put two types of clown in a tank to prevent fight. if can onli put either maroon or tomato clown. which clown do u guys prefer? pros & cons?

maroon are very aggressive. alot are known to bite their owner's hand and boss around in the tank. furthermore, they are the largest size in the clownfish family.

Tomato pretty aggressive too... my 1" tomato is able to survive in my tank with the other clarkii clowns and false which are 3 times it's size.

yea, a pair of true percula clown is nice, especially those very unique pattern and super black ones.

I vote for the yellow clarkii clown...just my 5cents worth suggestion, maybe we should post some pictures...I've bad I.T. skill, so will try to downsize my poorly taken pic to upload it during the weekend.

Yupe both Tomato and Maroon not good choice of fish for mix reef setup

I've got a pair of maroon clowns. Mix quite well with tangs and jawfish. Sometimes chase the damsels. But...but...when I tried to put other types of clowns in the same tank...then the aggressiveness really comes out. Non-stop chase and ram the tomato clown into submission, and the tomato clown same size as that maroon clown! eventually, I had to put the tomato clown into another tank.

my true clowns also will attack other clowns.. yesterday just bought a pair of Australian Blacks.. now seems to be a bit timid because the true clowns keep chasing them .

actually comparing.. I think they are almost the same.. They are the same shape and all.. just different colour.. so it depends on individual's colour preference.
